LNG-fuelled CMA CGM Jacques Saadé coming to Singapore on Sunday

The world’s first 23,000 TEU vessel powered by LNG, the CMA CGM Jacques Saadé, is scheduled to arrive in Singapore on Sunday (11 October) as part of her maiden voyage on the FAL 1 line between Asia and Northern Europe.

On Wednesday (7 October) the containership berthed at Yantian, her last call in China.

As previously reported, the CMA CGM Jacques Saadé is the first in a series of nine LNG-fuelled containership being built for the French shipping company. The nine LNG-powered boxships will be bunkered by Total as part of a 10-year deal.
