Ports of Piraeus and Guangzhou to work together on minimising carbon emissions

The Port of Piraeus Authority (PPA) and Port of Gunagzhou have pledged to escalate joint endeavors towards investments aimed at transitioning into environmentally sustainable ports and exploring innovative solutions to minimise carbon emissions.

The Greek and Chinese ports have also agreed to collaborate on port digitisation and automation as part of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by the Deputy CEO of PPA, Panagiotis Tsonis, and the Deputy General Manager at Guangzhou Port Group, Song Xiaoming.
