Rhys BerryErik Thun has announced it has taken delivery of the LNG dual fuel Thun Vettern .
Built by China Merchants Jinling Shipyard in Yangzhou, the 17,999 deadweight tonne (DWT) vessel, which also features a shore power connection and battery hybrid solution, is an upgraded version of the sister Thun Venern.
The Thun Vettern is the latest addition to the ‘Vinga’ series which are all trading within the Gothia Tanker Alliance. Erik Thun’s partner Furetank will technically and commercially manage the new vessel.
