OceanScore has announced the opening of a new office in Singapore, marking a significant advancement in its efforts to enhance maritime sustainability.
The inauguration was attended by Kenneth Lim, Assistant Chief Executive at the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), along with numerous customers, partners, and friends. Blue Net Chartering hosted the event.
The opening of the new Singapore office, led by Leo Grayson, Head of Commercial APAC, underscores OceanScore’s commitment to supporting the maritime industry in the Asia-Pacific region with new emissions reduction strategies. The company aims to assist local partners in navigating complex regulations such as the EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS) and the forthcoming FuelEU Maritime initiative.
Founded in 2020 by industry veterans Jörg Molzahn and Albrecht Gundermann, OceanScore has rapidly developed new tools like ‘ShipReview’ and ‘ETS Manager’ to assess and manage the carbon footprint of maritime activities. ‘ShipReview’ allows owners to evaluate the sustainability of their ship portfolios, while ‘ETS Manager’ helps shipping companies comply with emissions trading regulations. These tools have helped users to comply with increasingly stringent environmental standards and improve their overall environmental impact.
By establishing its Singapore office, OceanScore is aiming to collaborate further with new partners and clients in the region.
