Japan’s IINO Kaiun Kaisha (Iino Lines) has announced the delivery of the LPG dual-fuel Ice Class very large gas carrier (VLGC), Lumi Aurora. The vessel was delivered at Hanwha Ocean Co., Ltd.’s Okpo Shipyard., Iino Lines said in a statement earlier this week. Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI) has announced the delivery of the 86,700 cubic metre (cbm) LPG-fuelled LPG and ammonia carrier Lyla Pathfinder, and the vessel has also received conceptual design approval from the Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (Japan Maritime Association) for the use of ammonia as a marine fuel. The vessel was delivered to its owner CAMEL MARITIMA SA, and it will be managed by NYK and chartered to UAE-headquartered BGN INT FZCO. Greece-headquartered Capital Gas Ship Management Corp. has taken delivery of the 45,000 cubic metre (cbm) LPG dual-fuel gas carrier Aridaios from South Korea’s HD Hyundai Mipo. In a statement issued today (29 July), the shipping company said that the Aridaios is the sister vessel of the Aristogenis, which joined its managed fleet in June.
