Positive action: Delivering on shipping’s energy transition

Using real-life case studies wherever possible, and with a focus on Iberia and the wider Mediterranean region, the ship.energy summit in Valencia will provide a platform for shipping, fuel and technology experts to share their insights on how projects can be brought to scale and commercialisation as the clock ticks down to 2030 and 2050. Held at and supported by the Port of Valencia.

Thursday 28 – Friday 29 April 2022

Venue: The Port of Valencia

The one and a half-day conference will examine the rate and scale of progress in moving projects from the drawing board to commercialisation. It will also debate the two main approaches to shipping’s decarbonisation – aiming for net or absolute zero from the outset versus taking a step-by-step approach – and consider if they can be reconciled.

Programme details are updated regularly and are subject to change as new speakers are confirmed and themes developed.
