The UK’s Portland Port has announced it has become fully approved to conduct LNG ship-to-ship (STS) transfers. Three of the world’s major container ports will continue to work together on green and digital shipping along the Trans-Pacific route for another three years. The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), Port of Los Angeles (POLA), and Port of Long Beach’s (POLB) have renewed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), first signed in 2023, that will see them continue working with industry to deploy low- and zero-emission fuels and digital solutions.
