BunkerExperience Greece 2026

The two-day BunkerExperience course presents an unbeatable combination of theory and real-life bunkering experience.

This unique two-day programme gives participants the rare opportunity to experience two sides of the marine fuels industry that most professionals never see firsthand: working on board an active bunker barge and observing – and physically carrying out – marine fuel testing inside a leading commercial laboratory.

Designed for professionals involved in supplying, trading, purchasing or managing marine fuels across Greece and the Eastern Mediterranean, BunkerExperience bridges the gap between theory and real-world operations. Whether you are new to bunkering or looking to deepen your expertise, the course provides practical knowledge you can immediately apply in your day-to-day role.

Learn by Experience

Over two intensive days, participants combine classroom learning with practical, hands-on training, including:

  • Classroom sessions at the Bureau Veritas laboratory in Athens
  • Live demonstrations of marine fuel testing and quality assessment
  • Onboard sampling and operational experience on board an active bunker barge in Piraeus
  • First-hand insight into bunkering procedures, fuel handling and industry best practice
