Based on the classroom and practical elements of the three-day BunkerExperience course held in Vlaardingen, Rotterdam, this two-day version retains the unbeatable combination of theory and real-life bunkering experience with hands-on laboratory work and barge visit, while tailoring the training to reflect the bunkering sector in Greece and the Eastern Mediterranean.
This two-day programme includes course materials, course photographs and certificate.
Each day will begin with theoretical lectures, covering the subjects of the day. These lectures do not exceed 3 hours!

Mr. Ton Visser was born near Rotterdam in 1965. After completing his studies in Refinery and Chemical Process Technology in Rotterdam, he began his career in 1985 with Elsevier Training Company (SBC) as a lecturer and author. He was responsible for developing a wide range of in-house and bespoke training programmes for the oil industry. During this time, Ton also published several articles on refining products and technology, focusing on quality, safety, and environmental concerns.
In 1996, Ton joined Det Norske Veritas Petroleum Services Rotterdam as a Technical Fuel Advisor. By 1998, he was promoted to Coordinator of the Technical Services Section, where he oversaw all technical fuel-related activities at DNVPS Rotterdam.
In 2009, Ton moved to Bebeka U.A. in Groningen as a Commercial/Advisory professional in the Bunker Operations department.
In 2010, Ton became a Business Partner and Co-Owner of Oiltraining B.V., alongside Paul Deelen. Following Paul’s retirement in November 2022, Ton assumed full leadership of the company. Oiltraining B.V. specialises in developing and delivering tailor-made training courses and seminars for the oil, gas, chemical, and bunker industries, as well as providing consultancy and advisory services, including expert witness testimonies.
