All tours depart from SAVOY Palace. Delegates to meet in the SAVOY Palace lobby 15 minutes prior to departure.

Boat Tour:

This boat trip begins with a departure from Funchal Marina towards the Atlantic Ocean which surrounds the whole island. In an initial phase, it will be possible to have a comprehensive view of the bay of Funchal and all its surroundings that extend to the mountains. It will be possible to observe some species of Cetaceans, namely dolphins. The vessel travels along the south coast and towards the west, stopping next to Cabo Girão, the seventh highest cape in Europe with its imposing 589 meters height.

Guests will have the opportunity to swim and snorkel during the excursion and are encourage to bring bathing/swimming suits

Levada walk: 

This tour will allow hikers to have a perspective on some of the existing flora in the archipelago, diving into our forest with its sub-tropical climate and landscapes marked by the lush green that characterizes the island. It will also be possible to walk along a 3km trail (round trip) on one of our Levadas, which are part of Madeira’s cultural heritage. A solution found by our ancestors to bring water through these irrigation canals from the North Coast to the South Coat.

Guests are recommended to carry with them a water bottle to keep hydrated and wear comfortable walking shoes and clothing. A waterproof jacket may be needed.

Jeep Tour:

This jeep tour goes through the mountains of madeira, where it will be possible to see the landscape of the central mountainous massif of the island, characterized by its mountainous orography.

Guests are encouraged to dress comfortably and carry with them a water bottle to keep hydrated.
