This session will examine the global drive towards a zero-carbon future for shipping, looking at development of new fuels and alternative sources of energy for the maritime sector, from both a global and an African perspective. It will look at ammonia, hydrogen, LNG, and biofuels, and will explain the latest environmental regulations aimed at sustainable shipping. It will also investigate the benefits of digitisation in the bunker supply process.
