Shipping is set to be included in the EU’s Emissions Trading System from 2024. As Lesley Bankes-Hughes reports, carbon emissions trading experts who spoke at the recent ship.energy summit in Madrid were in no doubt that the industry will soon be finding itself in uncharted waters, unless it does some serious preparatory work.
