Poland-headquartered ORLEN has announced that it has been certified under the Oil and Gas Institute’s KZR INiG sustainability scheme for the co-hydrotreatment of bio-based feedstocks at its Płock refinery. The certification confirms that the renewable feedstocks used at the refinery and their processing comply with the European Union’s requirements. As Colombia continues to deal with the aftermath of the earthquake which struck the country on Monday (10 August), CMA CGM has reported that terminal operations at the port of Buenaventura have ‘partially resumed’, but added that vessel operations are still ‘being handled under constrained conditions’. Abu Dhabi-based AD Ports Group has announced that its revenues for the second quarter (Q2) of 2026 were up 47% year-on-year (y-o-y) at AED 7.08 billion, while its total net profit ‘almost doubled’ (+88%) to AED 836 million.
