Canada-based StormFisher Hydrogen anticipates that when its new plant in Varennes, Quebec starts operations in 2028 it will become ‘North America’s first commercial-scale e-methanol facility’. Hungary-based MOL Group is expanding its Szarvas biogas plant with a new unit that will be capable of producing more than seven million cubic metres (cbm) of biomethane a year. Scheduled for completion by the end of this year, the new unit will be MOL Group’s first biomethane plant and the third such facility in Hungary.
