Titan Clean Fuels has announced that it has successfully concluded its first pooling exercise for the compliance period 2025 under the FuelEU Maritime (FEUM) regulation, with verification by DNV. The 2,507,910 tonnes of marine fuel – including LNG – that was sold in the first three months of the year at the Port of Antwerp-Bruges marked a 16.1% increase on the 2,160,422 tonnes sold in the same period in 2025. Brittany Ferries has pledged not to introduce fuel surcharges in 2026, declaring there will be no shortages of marine fuel. ‘That’s the company’s 2026 promise to all passengers,’ Brittany Ferries said in a statement issued yesterday (22 April) in which it confirmed that suppliers have ‘guaranteed the free flow of all maritime fuels’, namely LNG, heavy fuel oil (HFO) and marine gasoil (MGO).
