Technology company KK Group has announced the acquisition of shore power specialist PowerCon A/S. Following the acquisition, which is expected to close during Q2 2026, Denmark-based PowerCon will become part of KK Group but operate as a separate entity while the two companies explore options for further collaboration.  KK Group, which was acquired by A.P. As the International Maritime Organization’s working group on GHG missions meets at the London HQ ahead of the Marine Environment Protection Committee (MEPC 84) next week, the Methanol Institute has insisted that ‘the 2023 IMO GHG Strategy must remain the point of reference’ – and ‘the task now is to turn it into practical global rules that are workable, effective and investible’.
