Spanish energy group Enagás has completed the sale of 40% of Enagás Renovable to hydrogen investor Hy24 for €48 million and will retain a 20% stake in the affiliate. Since its inception in 2019, the business focus of Enagás Renovable has been to promote the development of the renewable hydrogen sector in Spain, as well as biomethane. Daphne Technology, a developer of methane abatement technology, has raised investment from Taranis, the project development arm of an industrial group which includes Perenco and Dixstone.  The funding was raised in the first close of a current round, and Taranis joins Shell Ventures and Trafigura as investors in the Switzerland-headquartered firm. Daphne Technology says that the money will be used to accelerate the commercialisation of its SlipPure methane abatement system. Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) and INPEX Shipping have signed a long-term charter contract for a newbuild LNG carrier that was today (17 April) officially named Harmonic Breeze at at Hanwha Ocean’s Geoje Shipyard in South Korea. The vessel has a dual-fuel ME-GA main engines and is also equipped with an air lubrication system and a shaft generator to help reduce its fuel consumption. Image: MOL
