Manta Marine Technologies (MMT) and Foreship by RINA have signed a framework agreement to collaborate on providing air lubrication technology to the maritime industry. In a statement sent to ship.energy today (1 September), MMT said that it will ‘assume full responsibility’ for Manta Air Lubrication – which is based on Foreship’s air lubrication system design. Optimum Voyage and Weilbach have entered a partnership making Optimum Voyage’s voyage optimization technology available directly within the Weilbach platform as Weilbach Optimizer. The  technology combines vessel-specific performance modelling with weather and ocean data to optimise both route and speed. Singapore and Brazil have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish the Singapore-Brazil Green and Digital Shipping Corridor (GDSC).
