The SBM Offshore and Technip Energies Joint Venture (STS JV) and TotalEnergies EP Suriname have agreed to work with French firm Beyond the Sea to evaluate wind-assisted kite traction towing for Suriname’s GranMorgu Floating Production, Storage, and Offloading (FPSO) vessel project. Netherlands-based Flikkema Innovation Management & Consultancy (FIMC) has unveiled details of a new accelerator project that aims to achieve 80 zero-emission inland vessels through a combination of newbuilds and retrofits.
