Fairfield Maritime Japan has signed a contract with Finnish renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) producer Neste for the long-term charter of two MR tankers that will be equipped with wind-assisted propulsion systems (WAPS). Dubai-headquartered DP World has announced it has reached an agreement in principle with the Fujairah Ports Authority under a 50-year concession to develop two new terminals on the UAE’s east coast — the Al Rugaylat container and multi-purpose terminal, and the Dibba General Cargo terminal.
