ETFuels has secured a first long-term binding agreement to supply e-methanol at a fixed price to London-based shipping company RFOcean. The 10-year deal will see the Dublin-headquartered e-fuel developer supply e-methanol produced at its Rattlesnake Gap installation in Texas, with the first volumes to be delivered in 2030. e-fuel developer ETFuels was awarded an investment tax credit of up to €118.6 million from Business Finland for its Ranua Näätäaapa project, which is expected to produce 110 kilotonnes per annum (ktpa) of e-methanol from renewable hydrogen.
